STUDENTS THRIVING AMONGST THEIR PEERS

It goes without saying that academics is important. To be successful as an adult, every child must learn to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations. However, we firmly believe that social growth is equally important. Without positive social interactions, children can be left feeling sad, lonely, and eventually, depressed. Since they spend the majority of their time in a school setting, this is the perfect place to learn and apply social skills. That’s why we offer a multitude of opportunities to help with this. Our goal is for our students to not just see CCS as a school, but to feel at home here with their peers and view this as their home away from home.

We firmly believe that social growth is just as important as academics. That’s why we offer a multitude of opportunities for students to interact socially. Our goal is for our students to feel at home here with their peers.

FIELD TRIPS

Learning takes place in and out of the classroom. That’s why our teachers embrace many learning opportunities off-campus with a variety of valuable field trips.

SPIRIT WEEK

Pajama Day, Twin Day, Tourist Day – these are just a few of the fun themes for our Spirit Week, where we build school spirit through fun activities and dress-up days.

HOMECOMING

We love our alumni and welcome them back to CCS many times throughout the year. The highlight, though, is our homecoming weekend with pep rally, games, and presentation of the homecoming court.

BANQUETS

We love to celebrate milestones with special events. Our Jr/Sr Banquet and Sports Banquets are dressy occasions to enjoy good food, fellowship, and have fun.

CLUBS

After-school clubs like Chess and Robotics are great ways to form friendships with others who share similar interests.

SPORTS

Sports is a huge part of our culture here at CCS with both middle and high school teams. Athletes, student-fans, and families alike enjoy the excitement of the games while bonding with friends.

MEDIA CREW

Our Patriot Media crew does a fabulous job creating posts for our social media outlets. Creativity flows as students hone their photography and videography skills to produce high-quality material.
