Carroll Christian Schools is located in the heart of Westminster in Carroll County, Maryland.  Our two main buildings are housed on the hilltop of Westminster on our 75-acre main campus, while the remaining 38 acres is home to some of our extracurricular events and sporting activities.

Our buildings consist of six educational wings with 28 well-equipped classrooms.   A 2.5-million dollar addition was completed in 2002 as well as a completely renovated science lab in 2013.  There are two auditoriums, a choir/band room, a large, well-equipped gymnasium with working concessions and locker rooms, weight room, a fully-staffed cafeteria, computer labs, a newly-renovated, high-tech science lab, and a full-service library with the most up-to-date technology, as well as carefully selected nonfiction, fiction, and reference works.  The library is continually adding new materials and the latest equipment to enhance the learning experience for our students.

On property acquired by the Church of the Open Door, our attractive campus boasts a full practice and playing field for baseball and softball, as well as two practice and playing soccer fields, and a fully functional outdoor concession stand. Our fenced-in playground has been renovated with new play equipment, jungle gyms, and multiple sliding boards including a section specifically for our preschool students.

Don’t take our word for it! Schedule your appointment, visit during one of our scheduled Open Houses, or drop by and see for yourself how the Lord has blessed us!

Our full cafeteria staff is headed by Mrs. Eli Fenton.  She works hard, daily, to provide fun and healthy food options for our students.  Some of her Menus have included:  “ba-sketti” & meatballs, breakfast for lunch, baked potato soup with cheese & bacon, turkey and cheese wraps,  hot dogs, and sloppy joes along with fresh salads, breads, and fruit & veggies.  Mrs. Fenton’s specialty desserts are made fresh daily.  Some of the favorites have been bon-bons, apple streusel cake, butterscotch chip bars, and “dirt” cookies.  We also have a freezer stocked full of a variety Hershey’s ice cream treats. Feel free to take a minute and look over one of our sample monthly menus.

Carroll Christian Schools has a full-time guidance counselor on the premises who serves the students in multiple areas. Our guidance counselor, Sarah Hahn, is a 2009 graduate of Carroll Christian Schools. She earned her BA in Christian Counseling from Bethany Divinity College in 2013. Miss Hahn is happy to be back at CCS to serve the Lord and her fellow Patriots. She is here to assist the students in test preparation and study techniques, college and career paths, social, home, and academic counseling, organization techniques for our middle school students, preparation for academic testing such as standardized testing (Stanford Achievement Testing), and college testing: ACT’s and SAT’s. Miss Hahn will also works with our administrator, Mr. Reisberg, on the high school internship program.

Our facility is staffed with a Registered Nurse, Mrs. Jennifer Day.  Mrs. Day provides care and treatment to our students on a daily basis and works diligently to be sure our school is in compliance with the latest regulations according to the Maryland Board of Health.  In addition to Mrs. Day, we have two staff members who have earned their certificate as medical technicians to assist in administering medications to students under Mrs. Day’s supervision.  Mrs. Day keeps our CCS family up to date on the latest concerns and tips in health care.

Our library currently houses thousands of novels and educational titles and encyclopedias to assist students with their media needs and provides a wide selection of titles that are available to check-out in order to keep our students well educated and making reading fun!  Our library holds an annual Scholastic Book Fair that is one of our biggest CCS events enjoyed by all students.  In addition to our computer lab, the library has eight computer stations including three touch-screen computers that have been added and are the most up-to-date with today’s technology.

Hours of Operation:

Wednesday afternoons: 2:45-3:45 p.m.

Our school store is staffed with parent volunteers and is overseen by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  The store has a variety of new and used uniforms and other fun novelties for purchase.  We are currently in the process of expanding our selection!  Hours are not limited to those listed above!  Any time a parent or student would like to browse the school store, he or she can contact the school office to arrange other visiting hours.

Our number one concern at CCS is the safety of our students. Our faculty and staff are required to have a background check completed and our buildings our secured with all access points locked. Access to the buildings throughout the school day is monitored by the school receptionist. We have many security cameras throughout the parking lot as well as both the main building and the high school building.

All visitors must sign in at the school’s reception center and students are only allowed to leave the premises with adults listed as an emergency contact unless a note is provided by the student’s parents or guardians.

In the event of inclement weather or any potential situation that creates a safety concern for our students, CCS offers an indoor dismissal.  Please feel free to review the procedure below.
